Slow Shutter

A coastal walk with one lens

I left the zoom at home and took a single 35mm lens on a long walk along the cliffs. Without choices to make, I spent the day looking instead of swapping.

The light was flat until late afternoon, so the first two rolls are mostly texture: wet rock, fence posts, a gull that would not leave. The third roll caught the sun dropping under the clouds and is the only one I will print.

One lens, three rolls, sore feet. I would do it again next week.
